In a post that’s part comedy, part political critique, and 100% classic Moses Kuria, the outspoken CS took to social media with a string of sarcastic declarations aimed at the heart of Mt. Kenya politics — and all signs point to Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua being the real target.

Kenyan artist Nviiri the Storyteller is back with a new hit, and fans can’t get enough.
Using the fictional “District Commissioners Party,” Kuria mocked the loyalty-first culture gripping the region. Here’s what he said:
“Governor Irungu Kang’ata, no matter how hard you work, if you don’t follow me, you’re a one-term governor.”
“I’ll personally interview all DC Party aspirants to weed out the uneducated.”
“All other parties in Mt. Kenya are sellouts — reject them.”
“All leaders not following me around are brainless.”
“Musicians not singing my praise songs are tukunias and tugeges. Boycott their shows. Unfollow them.”
“All women not named Dorcas are sellouts and won’t go to heaven.”
The “Dorcas” line is widely seen as a shot at Pastor Dorcas Rigathi, the Second Lady — confirming Kuria’s post as a sarcastic swipe at the Deputy President’s tightening grip on Mt. Kenya politics.
While the tone was clearly satirical, the message was serious: Kuria is fed up with the blind loyalty, silencing of dissent, and political gatekeeping in the region.
Love him or hate him, Kuria knows how to shake things up. And with 2027 on the horizon, this might just be the start of a new political realignment in the mountain.
