Map listings are navigation references and may contain outdated entrances, telephone numbers or opening hours. Confirm the destination before travelling, especially if an officer has directed you to a particular station or office.

Direct station numbers are omitted where current official confirmation was unavailable.

Nairobi CBD and Nearby Areas

Central Police Station is an option to locate when visiting the CBD. Kamukunji and Pangani are separate stations; check the name carefully when following reporting or follow-up instructions.

Parklands, Muthaiga, Gigiri and Runda

These stations occupy different locations across northern Nairobi. When arranging a taxi or asking for public transport directions, state the full station name.

Kilimani and Kileleshwa

Kilimani and Kileleshwa police stations are separate facilities. Check which one is named on any report reference, appointment or follow-up instruction.

Kasarani and Ruaraka

When searching for Kasarani Police Station, ensure the selected result is in Nairobi; map services also list a station with the same name in Nakuru.

Eastlands and Embakasi

Some map searches show police posts, staff accommodation or other facilities alongside station results. Check that the selected destination matches the station you intend to visit.

Industrial Area, Lang’ata and Karen

Use the mapped approach to identify the final turn and entrance. A main-road destination may still require a connecting journey or walk.

Getting to a Police Station by Public Transport

Before boarding, tell the conductor the full station name and ask for the nearest practical drop-off point. Check the remaining walking route rather than assuming the vehicle stops at the station gate.

Fares vary and can change at any time. During an immediate threat, call emergency services instead of delaying assistance to plan a public transport journey.

Preparing for a Visit

Carry any relevant information already available, such as a report reference, messages, transaction records, photographs or vehicle details. Keep original digital records intact.

For follow-up visits, note the station where the original report was made and any instructions about the officer or department handling it. Ask for clarification if you have been directed to a different office.
