Everton Push Hard After the Break
Everton came out strongly in the second half and kept pressing for an equaliser. They created several chances through Iliman Ndiaye, James Tarkowski, and Thierno Barry, but failed to score for much of the game.
Their pressure finally paid off in the 75th minute when Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall scored from close range after a pass from Mykolenko, who redeemed himself after his earlier mistake.
Fulham Collapse Late On
As Fulham tried to push forward in the final minutes, disaster struck. In the 83rd minute, Fulham goalkeeper Bernd Leno made a costly error while attempting to clear the ball and accidentally put it into his own net, giving Everton the lead.
Fulham pushed hard during seven minutes of added time and came close through Sander Berge and Rodrigo Muniz, but they could not find a goal. The match ended with Everton securing a comeback victory, while Fulham were left frustrated after scoring two own goals across the match.
