How to Get to Huduma Centre GPO by Matatu
The easiest public-transport journey depends on where you are travelling from, but because Huduma GPO is inside Nairobi CBD, most commuters should use their normal CBD-bound matatu or bus and complete the final section of the journey on foot.

However, commuters do not necessarily need a matatu that passes directly outside Huduma GPO. If your normal matatu terminates elsewhere in the CBD, walking from the terminus can often be simpler.
Where Should You Alight?
If your vehicle passes through or terminates near the GPO/Kenyatta Avenue area, alight there and walk towards Teleposta Building.
Passengers whose matatus terminate elsewhere within Nairobi CBD can walk towards Kenyatta Avenue and the GPO/Teleposta area.
This is why the relevant boarding stage will differ depending on your point of origin.
From Kasarani and Thika Road
Commuters travelling from Kasarani, Githurai, Ruiru and other Thika Road areas should use an appropriate Nairobi CBD-bound matatu and then walk from its city-centre terminus towards Kenyatta Avenue and Teleposta Building.

From Westlands and Waiyaki Way
Passengers travelling from Westlands, Kangemi, Uthiru, Kikuyu and other Waiyaki Way destinations can use a CBD-bound matatu or bus.
After alighting within the CBD, proceed towards Kenyatta Avenue and Teleposta Building.
For commuters using the Waiyaki Way corridor, Metros’ existing route database can be used to identify the appropriate route number from the point of origin.
From Eastlands
Passengers coming from Umoja, Kayole, Buruburu, Donholm, Embakasi and other Eastlands neighbourhoods should use their appropriate CBD-bound service.
Depending on the route, the vehicle may terminate on the eastern side of the CBD. From there, continue on foot towards the GPO/Teleposta area.

From Ngong Road and Kawangware
Commuters travelling from Kawangware, Dagoretti and Ngong Road can use an appropriate CBD-bound matatu and complete the journey on foot to Kenyatta Avenue.

From Rongai and Lang’ata Road
Passengers travelling from Ongata Rongai, Lang’ata, Karen and surrounding areas should use the appropriate Nairobi CBD-bound matatu or bus.
After reaching the CBD, walk towards Kenyatta Avenue and Teleposta Building.

Once inside the CBD, look for Kenyatta Avenue and Teleposta Towers/GPO.
