The Cabinet Secretary for Labour and Social Protection, Alfred Mutua, has announced exciting job opportunities for Kenyan riders and nannies in Qatar. Speaking on Thursday, December 5, 2024, CS Mutua revealed that 600 motorcycle riders and 500 nannies will be recruited by a prominent Qatari company.
Job Opportunities for Riders
A total of 600 motorcycle riders will be hired to handle delivery services in Qatar. The company’s human resource (HR) personnel are expected to arrive next week for interviews, with the recruitment process set to commence on Friday, December 6, 2024.
Interview Details:
- Venue: Nairobi National Polytechnic, Mogira Road (opposite Pangani Police Station)
- Time: 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
Requirements for Riders:
- A valid Kenyan passport or proof of an eCitizen application in progress
- A current Certificate of Good Conduct or proof of an eCitizen application in progress
- A valid rider’s license
- Experience is not mandatory but is an added advantage
Perks and Benefits:
- Competitive pay of Ksh104,000 per month, tax-free, with the potential to earn more through additional deliveries
