Chief Recruitment Agent for Foreign workers Dr. Alfred Mutua Announces Vacancies.

The Cabinet Secretary for Labour and Social Protection, Alfred Mutua, has announced exciting job opportunities for Kenyan riders and nannies in Qatar. Speaking on Thursday, December 5, 2024, CS Mutua revealed that 600 motorcycle riders and 500 nannies will be recruited by a prominent Qatari company.

Job Opportunities for Riders

A total of 600 motorcycle riders will be hired to handle delivery services in Qatar. The company’s human resource (HR) personnel are expected to arrive next week for interviews, with the recruitment process set to commence on Friday, December 6, 2024.

Interview Details:

  • Venue: Nairobi National Polytechnic, Mogira Road (opposite Pangani Police Station)
  • Time: 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM

Requirements for Riders:

  • A valid Kenyan passport or proof of an eCitizen application in progress
  • A current Certificate of Good Conduct or proof of an eCitizen application in progress
  • A valid rider’s license
  • Experience is not mandatory but is an added advantage

Perks and Benefits:

  • Competitive pay of Ksh104,000 per month, tax-free, with the potential to earn more through additional deliveries
  • Free accommodation and a comprehensive medical cover
  • Motorcycle provided and maintained by the company
  • Four months of training in Dubai, including assistance in obtaining a UAE riding license

Cost to Applicants:
Applicants should prepare Ksh167,900 to cover air tickets, HR payments, and a non-refundable medical fee.

Nanny Positions in Qatar

The CS also announced 500 nanny positions exclusively for female applicants. Successful candidates will earn Ksh52,000 per month and enjoy additional benefits similar to those of the riders.
